The Nova Solvers Power Switch Board delivers a flexible and scalable solution for spacecraft power distribution and electrical load management. Designed as part of the Nova Solvers Common Avionics Platform, it integrates power switching, system monitoring, autonomous control, and actuator drive capability into a rugged 3U VPX module suitable for commercial, civil, and national security space missions.

An onboard microcontroller manages command execution, telemetry collection, health monitoring, and fault handling, providing autonomous subsystem operation while reducing the processing burden on the spacecraft flight computer. Integrated voltage and current monitoring enables continuous visibility into system health and power consumption throughout the mission.

The board supports configurable power distribution architectures with independently controlled outputs, programmable power sequencing, fault protection, and actuator control. Its modular design simplifies spacecraft integration while providing the flexibility to accommodate a broad range of mission requirements.

A custom heat frame provides efficient conductive thermal management and a robust mechanical interface for integration into spacecraft structures. The standardized VPX architecture enables seamless integration with the Nova Solvers Flight Computer, System Controller, and other avionics modules, supporting a common, scalable electronics platform across multiple spacecraft programs.

Engineered for long-duration operation in harsh radiation environments, the Power Switch Board is suitable for LEO, MEO, GEO, cislunar, and deep-space missions.
